The Chinese tech-giant Huawei is expected to grab the second spot in the list by leaving Apple behind, when it comes to the sale of the smartphones of the company. The company is well on track to beat the Tim Cook-led company Apple in the full year sales of the smartphones and the company is expected to achieve this feat for the first time ever in the long history that it has had. The company, after achieving this feat, will be undoubtedly taking the second place, as far as the global market is concerned, and it has been noted that nearly 200 million units have already been shipped by the company in the year 2018.
The company, as per the reports, has increased the sales by a great margin in many regions including Europe, China, Africa, and others, and it has also achieved a jump of more than 30%, as far as the global unit sales of the company are concerned, as it has increased from 153 million units sold in the year 2017 to nearly 200 million sold this year. One of the most popular series was the P2o series which has some high-spec cameras, and is developed by the German tech-giant Leica.
On the other hand, the arrest of one of the top executives of the company which was done in Canada quite recently, has actually placed the company at the middle of the intense trade war between China and the U.S. Many companies across the world are contemplating on ways to handle the situation as their sales are expected to suffer seriously in the coming year. The company beat Apple for the first time ever in the April-June quarter and it has done the same in the July-September quarter as well, and things are expected to proceed in a similar fashion in the coming time.
